The Federal Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA—18USC926C) authorizes retired and separated law enforcement officers nationwide to carry concealed weapons.
"HR218" requires you to qualify annually with a certified firearms instructor who is qualified to conduct a firearms qualification test for active-duty officers within that State.
Upon successful qualification, you will be issued a qualification card.
Scenario-based Force-on-Force training is one of the best ways to enhance your skills under stress. Qualifying and training on a square range are not sufficient. This is not the same as our civilian class and is only open to current and retired LEOs. The rules of engagement are very different for Law Enforcement Officers. We focus on reality-based training specific to Law Enforcement. Students will be required to participate in physical scenarios and role play.
The academy can be very challenging, especially regarding firearms training and qualification. If you are about to enter or are already in the academy struggling with firearms training and qualifications, this class is for you. This is one-on-one training designed to meet your needs, from just starting to additional training for those struggling to keep up in the academy.
